The lava damage actually has a radius; if you are killed by the lava there's a small chance you can inflict damage to someone hugging you. There are areas of invisible lava within the crashed Pelican that respond to medium size vehicles (i.e. the Warthog) and will inflict damage. However on foot or with most other vehicles you should be fine. This is the level designers fault, blame them. Some lightmap artifacts in areas at the expense of having the flares in the cave red as opposed to their default green colour. This mod cannot be poked.
This is the last mod I'll be releasing as I've moved on to other things and no longer have a lot of time for Halo. However I feel like I owe something to the Halo modding community because without being inspired by it many years ago I probably wouldn't be pursuing the career I am.

By Krazy PigeonI thought I would upload this after getting a few questions on how I made my "Blizzard" mod. This patch is basically my Blizzard mod, minus all the weapons, vehicles, rain etc. This patch only has snow on the ground with the corresponding snow effects. Use this as a base for your own mods and have fun. But I do still encourage you to learn how to change map shaders if you don't already know. Apply this patch to "forge_halo.map" and enjoy!
-4 kinds of blocks and a Warp Pipe-
Brick Blocks - A forgeable block that can be destroyed.
"?" Blocks - Every weapon in the forge list spawns as one. When it takes damage it releases the contained weapon.
Used Blocks - Other than the fact that they are a byproduct of "?" blocks, they are a re-skinned brick block.
Bullet Bill Launcher Blocks - When this kind of block takes damage it fires a Bullet Bill out of its pipe.
Warp Pipe - Acts as a teleporter.
-2 new grenades and 1 new weapon-
Bob-omb Grenade - You can only hold 1 of these. They take 5 seconds to detonate, but unleash a devastating blast. They can also be spawned outside of a "?" block and can be shot on the ground to be ignited the same way as throwing it.
Throwable Hammer - You can hold up to 30 of these. They have no blast radius, but will kill you instantly on impact. They can also break blocks.
Bullet Bill Launcher - A weapon that launches Bullet Bills which can lock on to bipeds, land vehicles, or flying vehicles.

Mario Kart - A quick vehicle that can fire a Koopa shell which will ricochet off of anything and damages/deactivates vehicles on impact.
Koopa Shell - An extremely fast vehicle which can splatter anything in its path.
-2 new screen effects-
Outside Desert Effect - Provides the feeling of being stranded in the middle of a sunny desert. Has a radius in which it is in effect.
Inside Tunnel Effect - Emulates the deep blue underground feeling provided throughout Mario games. Also has an effect radius.

If you forgot what a "?" Block you spawned contains, just aim at it in edit mode and press the x button. This will display the objects name.
In order to properly create the illusion of going underground/ above ground, place the two screen effects far from each others radius so they don't overlap and have Warp Pipes between the two areas.
The Koopa shell projectile on the Kart has the problem that it only seems to be oriented correctly across the projectile's x-axis when looking a certain direction. I never found a solution or workaround to this problem.
The Koopa shell projectile also seems to sometimes prematurely detonate as soon as launched when the Kart is in odd angles relative to the ground. Because of this I made the detonation effect harmless. The shell only deals impact damage.
The Koopa shell as a vehicle is entirely buggy. It has a unmodified ghost physics model (I didn't know how to go about removing unwanted parts of it without causing balancing problems on the vehicle) and also a somewhat buggy animation. I only decided to keep it in this mod because it's kinda fun to drive around.
The Bob-omb grenade sinks partially into the ground when it lands on the floor. I never found a way to fix this as it ignores the objects physics model. The collision radius value in the projectile tag strangely doesn't effect the final landing of the projectile.

If this mod seems a bit rushed it's because it was. I'm moving tomorrow morning (actually in a few hours) and don't plan on taking my consoles. This will probably be my last mod (sucks I wanted to make a Mad Max mod). Luckily Lehvak has volunteered to give a shot at sound injection for this mod.

This .map mod uses a gametype (included in the zip file), so in order to play the mod as intended you need to, either copy the container file into your memory unit (with appropriate ID's obviously) and load it up, or get the variant file within the container, add ".game" at the end of the name, and place it into a folder called "autosave" in your consoles cache via neighborhood and load it from the temporary history list.

Various animations are odd or somewhat broken.
In order to not deal with first person animations and be able to add attachments to weapons (like the silencer for the magnum), I made the mod work in third person. However, this causes problems with weapons that zoom in. The sniper is used completely without the zoom capability. To compensate I added an extra four rounds to the magazine.
For some reason I couldn't get the zombie's melee to do damage naturally, so I had to attach area damage to their limbs. This causes various problems. If you run into a zombie and he doesn't hit you, you still die (the area damage goes away when they die, so don't worry about dead bodies). This also renders melee completely useless, so avoid using it.
AI is pretty dumb. If you climb a rock, a roof, or a broken vehicle, zombies may stop perusing you. It is up to you guys to not use this to your advantage. If you want to enjoy the mod simply keep away from these areas.
Patch as mario_world
This mod adds the Bomb-omb from Mario to forge world, you can use the Bomb-omb to kill other players. You will find the Bomb-omb in the forge menu.
More Mario items will be added soon.

the in-game animation shows 4-wheel steering, but the [vehi] tag doesn't steer the rear wheels, this patch fixes that. it makes the warthog drive very differently.
By Lord ZeddTurns out I still had this map, it was hidden away in my rgh's maps folder for the almost year its been since it was done.
To do this AMD had to create a custom swizzler specifically for this image and as you can see is far from perfect. The mipmaps are also messed up as you see garbage if you move too far away. This was done to get a feel for what was needed in getting it working. Whether research will continue in the near future is anyones guess. Lots of work would need to be done.
The custom bitmap is the only unnamed one, since this was before Assembly injected tagnames. It is not applied anywhere by default so you are gonna have to put it somewhere yourself.
I recall some people wanting this so here it is.

By JJIJRFor those of you who edited my Banshee AI patch I released and tried to spawn AI on some other vehicles or with different guns, you may have noticed that AI refuse to shoot certain weapons and vehicles, such as the machine gun turret, focus rifle, revenant, falcon side turrets, etc.. Well this is because an ai/generic.char only includes references to weapons on the current map, and I guess the campaign map I used didn't have these things. This TAGC features functionality to all weapons and vehicles other than melee weapons (I can't figure out the deal with those.). This also doesn't fix the immobile AI. Enjoy!

By JJIJRMind Powers V2 is a remake of MindPowers by DarkShallFall in Halo 3. However, this mod adds much more than telekinesis. It also adds fire, frost, and shock powerups.

This mod replaces the Mongoose and Warthog with the Plasma Slicer and Thunderhog. This mod is a work in progress and is nowhere near done. I was going to work on it a lot more before release, but with all these tag injection shenanigans I'm probably not going to work on it much. This is also my first .map mod that I ever release.
- Pink dirt collision particles for vehicles. (side effect for changing the electricity color).
- Ghost completely replaced with warthog.
- Headlight lens flares on Plasma Slicer.
- Thunderhog Idle noise.
- Lagging when up close to burnout smoke.

After taking longer than necessary to make, I've finally gotten to a point that I deem "good enough" for a public release. This is a year or so's worth of on/off work. I started this mod roughly around the time I modded my Xbox. At the time I knew nothing about Halo modding, and having most of my questions replied with "that's impossible" in which most of those replies have been proved wrong.
Over the time I've worked on this, I've learnt quite a lot from this community. I'm sorry this took so long. I guess I got caught up in trying to make it "perfect". If I had continued doing that I would have probably never released it. Anyways i'll get to the point, I hope you enjoy this and that it helps new modders learn how to do certain mods. Thanks for being a wonderful community and for being happy to help.
This patch needs to be applied to work properly.
Spawning the Pyramid forge object causes the game to crash and has therefore been removed from the forge menu. This will not be fixed.
Shoot in forge, waterless,modded weopons,and other ill sh** lol
