    @The Vengeful 'Vadam Is it possible to remove that berserk animation the elites do (the one where they throw their hands up) I saw it happen multiple times in your video. I always thought they left themselves wide open to damage when they could be doing something more meaningful, like shooting lol. 
    Another thing, some enemies go into a hit stun type animation when taking damage with no shields was just wondering if you could remove that mechanic completely. It might be a good challenge mod if you can.

    With news that MCC PC has been out for a while, and H2 and H3 PC are about a couple months away, I got real excited and started looking around the modding community for the first time in about 1.5 years and was excited to see the Xenia project has become extremely viable since I last checked. So I booted up my old project into xenia and got back to work. This is just how I left it all the time ago except I show you how I recently added the tank head.
    Any help scaling the head so it better fits the visor would be greatly appreciated. I've been up and down this site looking for something about model resizing, but the only thing I could find was Zedd's code for editing the xex, but if I could find an address to permenantly change my custom .mode and/or hlmt then I could share this map in the future without having to also share a xex along with it. Did it! Big shout out to ReteroX for the help!
     
    My current mod goals are all for this map and are as follows (list-items less likely for success as it goes):
    Rescale tank head on flood-spartan, and maybe fine tune it some more. Thanks again ReteroX Retexture the flood-spartan with photoshop and 3ds max (I have everything I need, I'm just having a hard time unwrapping the uv exactly how bungie did it. How is everyone else retexturing spartans? I can't even find a guide to do it in halo ce even) Fix how the player can't start with a shotgun for some reason. (The odst next to me gets one wtf) All I had to do was forceload it. Thanks Akarias, I made sure to like your helpful post. Perhaps add a flood left_arm_garbage to the flood-spartan as well. Finally some progress https://youtu.be/Y6nrmQTDPSs] Got the jackal to explode like a carrier on death and it is fun and makes the enemy challenging. Currently looking to add permanent muffins to it to justify the skinny guy exploding so much. Make Spartan Corpses/Jackals/Grunts infectable like brutes/humans/elites. Randomized Spartan Permutations. Remove the dialog, title, and AA blasts from the cinematic since I can't remove the cinematic, also maybe swap the music. Recreate the Flood swarm from halo wars (When I get to that I'll likely use Sentinels or Gamecheat's unmanned banshees, in combination with the quadwings from guardian.map) The "Skulker" new unit that's a hunter animation-inheriting a stalker, new textures and bump maps to cover up metalic bits and make it all look fleshy. (Lore: not a flood hunter, just another pureform or stand-in for the Thrasher. Everyone knows Lekgolo are immune to infection.) The "Splinter" A flood weapon that fires ranger needles and that looks like it was pulled off a pureform. [In early stages of development rn] Port over Zedd's flood-engineers and make bangers a lot more noticeable from other popcorns. The "Firecat" (because FirePuma doesn't sound as good), a red Warthog with a flamethrower turret. [Finished everything except the color. Expanding vehi 'Change Color' chunk just isn't working. Maybe I'll mess with rmsh colors later, but who knows what issues duplicating for that'll cause. Trying to keep my tag count down. So no HW2 flame color scheme for now.] (waiting until jackal and grunt are done then I'll make a video on all 3. Too stressful not to talk about early) Figure out what to unload from the game to improve stability. Change that BLF Block that one door with a flood asteroid. Or remove the machine that operates the door? Learn a lot of scripting for next parts Add more squads to that last area that spawn after one another when it is cleared out. A bloc (crate/etc.) with a 'Use' key that spawns weapons/grenades/equipment/etc. Force campaign scoring to always on and use as money. Script that checks campaign score, if x or above, subtracts x from it as though friendly fire, when player presses use key on one of those blocs. Have blocs say something like "Firebomb (300)" or "Magnum (100)" on its ingame prompt. Figure out how to get phantoms/pelicans to drop squads like they do in rest of campaign, rig that up to a bloc (antenna) as well. (Lore: A covenant antenna could intercept covie radio and call in a distraction 3-way battle for you at the expense of some score points. Blocs that call in actual allies would obviously cost more.) Friendly hunters that are colored green like the sangheli phantoms (which can be called in). Seriously, why wasn't this already in retail? Some Hunters defected too. Friendly mp_spartans as well (that can be called in for a hefty fee). Make a flood-truth boss. Hopefully this all syncs over LAN as it's technically just a campaign level. Stretch goals.
    Change the water to resemble water from Cortana level. And do detail work trying to get parts of the environment covered in flood mass. Have new flood squads drop in how they do on the Halo level (last level). Whenever model injection works, likely on the upcoming PC port, juggernauts, thrashers, the h4 flood-spartan, previous flood versions, and flood from Halo Wars 1/2 would be sweeet.  
    I'm aware that Zedd's flood firefight mod exists for ODST, but I want the full spartan/H3 experience this time.

    Hello, that's cool that you are interested in getting a jtag/rgh modded xbox 360. We do not discuss going online with said modded consoles. They are "illegal" concerning Microsoft's T.O.S. However don't attempt to use the console online, one because this site doesn't support that behavior of using modded consoles online, and because it can cost you a pretty penny to use a modded console online, for servers and kv's, and the modded console will get perma banned from playing online if you bring it online anyways. Now i'm not saying that's why you are getting one to use online and cheat and to show off and such. Just don't ever talk about using one online here, if you want to don't ask us how to use it online because you most likely will be banned from the site or warned. Now to the actual topic now that is out of the way. Actually modding halo and games goes much further than just drag and drop scenarios if you want to make your own halo mods. To do that you will have to use the assembly tool and such to make your own modifications, or any RTE tool to poke mod changes to actual ingame environment, i'm not gonna go into detail on how to do all of that there is plenty of tutorials on this site and youtube and other modding sites on how to do certain things. However if you want to use pre-made mods then yes it can be as simple as drag and drop, just put the .map in the maps folder, the mapinfo file in the mapinfo folder, and the blf fies and such in there correct folder, however you will need a modified xex to even use custom modded maps/custom maps and any other mod that was done to the halo series, the modded xex files goes right in the root of the game where the original xex is, you will overrite the unmodded xex with the modded one, this xex allows custom content/mods because crc checks are removed and alot more depending on the xex and mods being uses, some xex's just have crc checks removed, and other have aimbot and other random cool stuff, such as AI enabled for halo 3 and halo 4. I'm sure once you get your modded console somebody here can give you a more in depth explanation, but that is the basics. It's pretty easy to understand once you get the hang of it

    Yes, he was banned because of that video.
    He was banned because he took one of the mods posted on here and adapted it for the explicit purpose of cheating online. It has always been against the rules here to directly facilitate online cheating and we have always immediately banned people for doing it. There is no reason to convert something to support TU1 other than to cheat online with it, because everyone who doesn't want to cheat online always uses the base version of the game.
    Yes there is:
    The scoreboard clearly shows that Professional is in the game with Slim Shady Professional commented on the blog post which the mod was taken from The fact that the updated offset wasn't released publicly is even more damning because it proves that it was done in order to cheat online. If Professional had released this publicly first then we would have given him the benefit of the doubt and just assumed that Slim Shady found it independently.
    We did want it to be known, but the expectation was that it would be used offline. Not to ruin the game for other people and to give us a bad name. You know, it's possible to have fun with mods without being a dick to other people. Also, just saying, we've already started to stop releasing things because of this.
    There's a difference between doing something with the express purpose of cheating online with it and making something which just so happens to be usable online.
    We made a gun and it was used to kill someone. You can do fun things with guns that don't involve killing people. Why should we be held accountable?
    And we still do, as long as those things are intended for offline play only.

    That tool was released before Halo 4 was. You couldn't cheat online with it because there was no multiplayer to cheat in. Furthermore, if you actually read my post, you would see that it was released before any other Halo 4 modding tools were available, and that's why it was significant. Of course we wouldn't praise such a thing if it was released now.
    Updating a damn offset so that it could be used to cheat online...
    Modding online has always been looked down upon. There are many things you can do which don't involve ruining the game for other people (just look at Gamecheat's YouTube channel), and we continue to applaud people who put effort into making those things.
    Assembly was never intended to be used online. When you start it for the first time, you even have to accept a dialog which states that you agree to this, and that you can be banned for abusing it:

    You can't  spawn destroyed vehicles. You can kill vehicles with the health label. Try placing a health boundary around a vehicle to kill it as it spawns.   
    Spawn a hill marker and set RESPAWN TIME to 1, label it as health and set to -11. This should kill any vehicle that enters the boundary.

    Edit Tested and figured out how to kill bipeds with health label. 
     
    Spawn a hill marker label it as Spawner and set to -1 to -12. This will spawn a biped. 
    Spawn a hill marker label it as health and set to -11. This should kill any bipeds that enter the boundary.

    Hi everyone.  A couple of years ago I asked TRUSTYSN00ZE on Xbox Live to make a Sharpshooter gametype (that we used to play in Halo 4) for me and 550 people in my Halo Reach custom game clan.  So, 1 month later he did, while also adding Gun Game features to it and named it Weapon Wielders instead.  Then I asked him if he could make the one final gametype that we would love to have, that we also played in Halo 4 - Speed Limit, where your vehicle will blow up if you don't maintain a minimum speed limit.  Soon later he did, while also adding Tron trails to the vehicles and named it Tron instead.  But the problem is: if you have more than a handful of people playing it, the vehicle trails don't kill you, so the trails are pointless.  I asked him if he could remove the trails but he said he's too busy at school and doesn't have his Xbox with him.  So now, I am here asking if anyone else who is a modder can please edit his Tron gametype for me and my big clan so that it doesn't have trails attached to the vehicles, but you still have to maintain a minimum speed so you won't blow up (Speed Limit, which is what I asked for).  The gametype Tron is in his fileshare, but it needs to be edited.  Or you could start a new gametype from scratch instead, if that would be easier.  If you can't help, that's fine.  If you can, great - we would all very much appreciate it.  Time doesn't matter - you can do it whenever you'd like.  Now that's it's the summer, it would be the perfect time to do so when most people are home from school.  But please don't ask me for any money because all of the modded gametypes out there were made for free, including the ones I asked for above.  I'm also partially handicapped so I don't have money to give anyway.  I appreciate all you can do for us.  I'm sure the kids would have a blast playing it, as they currently are while playing my 400+ different maps.  Thank you.
