    head to ai_generic in char. Fiddle around with the property blocks, I would start with the Weapon Properties.

  4. Unsure, but try changing the third person model to [bloc], not [hlmt]. It's possible that if all else fails you can just invisibilize the spartan and parent a bloc somehow.
  5. Found one tutorial here: It looks like you'll need an xbox live account in order to have some kind of file share to download the sve mythic slayer things off of. If you upload those maps/gametypes on 360, you can just download them right off fileshare ingame like in the video.

  7. Roger roger. I'm good with the source, it's just that now everybody has to download Xbox 360 Neighborhood lol. EDIT: Also, will there be a way to convert an old mod on the 360 to PC? Thought it would be neat to play some snow slayer in some custom games with friends. If not, I could probably just go tag through tag and recreate the mod assembly

    Your .map and .mapinfo names are not the same. Try Patching may be an issue if your using the spanish version of halo 3 but not entirely sure.

(Took about a week, but I finally managed to get this fully functional and up and running. first attempt: Black screen; frustrated second attempt: Freeze at certain point in mission; irritated third attempt: Success. Had to play through the clean Tsavo Highway mission first before conversion) Anyway! Welcome to Forge in Campaign - Tsavo Highway. This conversion is my first map conversion for Halo 3, and it includes just about everything added to forge palette such as: Selectable Weapons Vehicles Equipment Scenery Respawn Point This is indeed, my first conversion, so don't expect anything spectacular other than playing through the mission with Forge. Gamecheat13 plans on creating a whole series in Halo 3 for Forge in Campaign; AI scripts, and much more... Select GREEN team for Human, I think ORANGE for covenant? PATCH Be sure you patch the original campaign map, then just toss it into your maps folder with the info!

    You probably didn't name the output file correctly when patching in assembly. If you're playing on Reach, you will have to disable contpatch in dashlaunch.

    It hasn't really been accomplished, yet. From what I know the maps tend to crash or not work when they are converted with squads and/or scripts.
  13. How can this be done? I'm wanting to just flying around by some AI in Forge mode, but they keep attacking me no matter what setting I try to find and edit. Any way to disable their combat towards JUST players? Would be sweet.

    For Halo 3, you have to atleast have a modded 360.
  15. I wouldn't use java for modding in years. C# is definitely good with modding and getting basic tasks done, thing is, I can't fully modify Assembly's source or because it was written in c++ I think. C# is also not fully compiled.
  16. Haven't done much C, but mainly C# (unfortunately lol). Where exactly can I find this tool / program? May be able to get something partially working. I actually wanted this video to seem more like a comedy / easy-catch, but probably went to far when bringing it to xbc.

    If the object is frozen in place, you need to go to the Rigid Bodies block, and set the "Motion Type" to Box in the [phmo] tag of the bloc
  18. As far as I know, I haven't ever seen AI spawn through the Forge pallet with player interactions, fighting, pathfinding, ect. for Halo Reach. You could try taking a quick look at forge in campaign for The Storm. Gamecheat hosts it on blamedepot, and if I remember correctly, he spawns the AI with the proj tag instead of scen. The proj comes with an attached effect (don't see how you could get around it) and therefor places the AI. If this works for Reach, you could probably just redo the concept on a campaign map with forge.

    Go into the Firing Effect below the projectile reference, open the effect in a new tab, go down to "Anticipated Tag Class". Here, set it to 'obje'. Next, changed the Spawned Tag to your liking. Set velocity bounds min and max.
  20. Is there a custom bitmap... for this? What do you mean are you sure. I can agree that the injection process is awkward and the format is indeed different. Can't find the bit to swap color channels or perhaps color inversion is my issue :\

    You actually do not anymore before patching. However, this is HIGHLY necessary before doing the conversion; Zedd actually didn't mention it. Not one hundred percent sure, but if I had to guess, it was easier for Bungie to just do their injections. The anti air wraith is just a simple model variant part of the wraith.
  22. halo 4 is indeed, quite odd, for some reason the color channels are off. The color format was entirely different rgb565 i think (32 bits per texel), layout in hex code is also quite wonky: could maybe fix this tomorrow

    Couldn't have done it without referencing the truck in ai_generic - Thank you so much Gamecheat! I thought this mod would be significant enough to post here, after all, it did take some time to remake. There are a total of 12 trucks set up in Squads for scnr (feel free to add more) and you can mess around with different objects that are attached to the containers. Some things you should know: Trucks spawn at -860, 662, -48 (may need to do some flying around to find them) Original map to patch is (just obtain the original conversion off gamecheat's blamdepot) Convoy tends to slide around sometimes; had to continuously mess around with the bed_long's moving friction & mass to get the trucks moving.
