I dont have a game disk, i downloaded Halo Reach from Marketplace and now i dont now how 2 get these original .maps from xbox. got the .maps from downloadable map packs like anniv and defiant with USB device but i cant get original maps like forge halo and others like that.     So im in progress of making a Marine campaign map where you play as a Marine and when you hit it is slow and only hits to the marines center when looking down or up and hitting. But I noticed one thing, using a plas pistol you can hit where ever you look and is quick, how would I apply this melee jmad to all weapons?

    Here's a couple of questions. How does the pelican in Halo 3 seem to blow up on campaign mission Sierra 117 by the banshees? How can I destroy pelicans myself by modding the map file?
  4. Okay. I've been searching this website high and low for some good mods that I can download so my friends and I can have a little more fun in Halo 4. This website has shown me some amazing gametype mods (I really want to play Titanfall and Turret Survival), but there is one problem: I CAN'T DOWNLOAD THEM. How am I supposed to download your files if the links just bring me to Halo Waypoint? That doesn't help me at all. Want to fix this problem and help out people with the same problem? Here's how, since people don't seem to know: 1) Get a file storage account (Mediafire, MEGA, 4Shared, etc.) If you already have an account on one of these sites, congratulations! Move on to the next step. 2) Extract your file with Horizon. 3) Upload the file to your storage account. 4) Paste a download link to the file instead of giving me a link to Halo Waypoint. If we do this instead of this FileShare B.S., then it will be a lot easier for users to access modded gametypes and forge maps. Or, better yet, KEEP the Waypoint link, AND add a direct download link. That way, the Xbox LIVE users can still access the files via FileShare, AND the offline JTAG/RGH users can finally get at them, too. Please. I just want to play some Titanfall and Turret Survival with my buddies. Is that too much to ask?

I modded the map 100_citadel.map to spawn AI via the effects, I did this with elites and it worked as it should, but when I tried this with grunts, I shoot the magnum which is what I use to spawn AI, it does not work until I get to the point where the grunts spawn by default. Is there anyway I could do this without proceeding through the mission?

    i have injected an edited bitmap in 35_island.map and have applied it by switching the bitm tag in the rmsh tag. however, in game the bitmap has not changed i have replaced the raw offset in the original play tag raw pages block so that the original raw isn't even referenced, cleared the cache and still the problem persists. does anyone know how to fix this, any help is greatly appreciated.

    Just wondering if there is a way to make custom powerups last until the end of a game, even if i have to set them to last 1 hour, but this is not in the menu. is it possible or not any help would be appreciated.
  8. I know it sound really stupid but hey I do stupid things so I just wondering how would I go about doing this? Could I do this through Assembly or would I have to mod the XEX? Or is this just not possible? I have found that reviewing the mainmenu.map with both the full game and the demo of Reach that pretty much the activities lobby and all the other lobbies are the same. I really don't know then what's locking it out (lol ).

    I've done everything I could to get an Elite to dual wield plasma rifles but always fail. I have enabled dial wielding in the weapon and biped tag too.

    Hello there. I made a phantom flyable using ghost_d for the seat animation, then the two boxes below to chin_gun. I also went into the phantom's physics model tag and set the phantom index and interaction unknown to -1 in the polyhedra section for all 10 within the section; so that the phantom dropship is completely solid, this physics model modification was used in gamecheat13's mp_testbox.map mod, but I did this on 100_citadel.map. Now, in this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdEwmyAbAfA; the uploader has successfully made it so that a marine can fly a phantom. I tried to get a marine to enter the driver seat, but it does not seem to work. The marine does walk to it and walk continuously without entering the driver seat of the phantom. Does anyone know what I need to do next? I replaced the scorpion with the phantom in the vehicles palette section in the scenario tag. I did all this using Assembly. I sure appreciate your assistance, thank you.
  11. Is there any way that you can board an enemy phantom dropship the same way mickey does by modding? I know how to drive the phantom, but I'm just curious to see if you can board the phantom and immediately enter the driver's seat just like mickey does.

    Here is another good question. I am wondering if there is a way to make AI spawn in a Vehicle, such as a warthog, banshee, or even a phantom. That way when I spawn brutes in phantom dropships via the effects on let's say 100_citadel.map, the allies can simply use a rocket launcher and other weapons to destroy those dropships.

    I was in a halo 4 custom game with my friend poked a few things didnt go into match making once it was fine yesterday and now today when i jumped on i am banned? i only just updated my dash yesterday so could that have something todo with my ban? is there any way around this? i need to get a few things off my theater but it doesnt let me sign in? Would adding a new kv fix this?

    Hey so if you saw my last thread about my theater problems well neighborhood problems i fixed that issue now that i am connected via ethernet but now i have this problem in the video below. i am not currently connected to xboxlive with xblse i h ave it on my xbox but my dash is out of date, so could this problem be that my game isnt up to date? i have the dlc on the xbox it worked before when it was connected to my pc via ethernet now that it has a hard wire to the router its saying this and none of the dlc is showing up when i go into wargames/Custom. So does anyone have idea whats going on or will a fix just be to update everything and download the halo 4 update or something?

Hey guys i havent used my xbox for a while and i booted her up and jumped on todo some stuff and when i try to poke with Assembly this message comes up my xbox is connected to Xbox 360 Neighborhood before hand and i can control everything and take screen shots even with assembly but then that happens and i cant do anything. Could it have something todo with my xbdm or something?   17. I do have Assembly and a copy of Halo 3 ready for modding with the modded xex that allows you to spawn AI via a weapon's firing effect tag. I modded the magnum's firing effect to spawn elites. However, they do not have a weapon when they spawn. I used 100_citadel.map for this, and I did the exact same thing for the brutes, but they also do not have any weapons. I did use this same edit in Halo 4 to spawn the storm elite officers, again using a magnum, on the map, m40_invasion.map, and they spawned with a weapon, an energy sword. So I am wondering if anyone knows how to spawn elites with weapons in Halo 3, like Lord Zedd demonstrated in the following youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icRKk1H8GUI
  18. I have updated Assembly to the latest version that I believe was released today using the built in update checker. I have used it to inject the Pelican dropship from 070_waste.map (The Ark) into shrine.map (Sandtrap). Then I modified the magnum's firing effect to spawn a pelican. However, the pelican's sounds which are used in Campaign, do not seem to work when I play Sandtrap and spawn the vehicle. I did find out that the sounds do not work because when I extracted the pelican, the software told me that 1096 tags were extracted, when I imported the tag container into shrine.map, only 69 tags were imported out of 1096 tags. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I have an RGH Xbox 360 Slim E console and I am testing out Lord Zedd's Drivable Mammoth patch. I applied the patch, I had to swap a weapon projectile for the mammoth. I did that in both the patched map file as well as in a clean map (both of them are m40_invasion.map), but when I load the patched map with the projectile swap, the game freezes, and the mission does not load. The same issue also occurs with the clean copy that I modded myself. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I found this youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNQL3w-MKT0 Lord Zedd has figured out how to drive the mammoth and make it not fall through the ground when spawning it with a weapon. I just want to know how to make the mammoth not fall through the ground. I do know that it is something to do with the phmo tags of the mammoth and its rigid bodies. However, I need to do this with the latest Assembly build and plugins. Thank you very much.
