System Link Help

I have tried everything and I can't get my RGH to host a game. I have my retail and my RGH connected on the same network and when I search for a game nothing even shows up. I have tried all the tutorials. Both of my xbox's are playing Halo 3 and they're both on 1.2 it doesn't matter if I hosted with the retail or the RGH, they still cannot find each other, when I search for the game nothing comes up. I have even plugged an enthernet cable into the back of my RGH and into the back of my retail but I still can't find any games. This makes X-linked and XBC games virtually impossible for me, the weird thing is I can still join a game on XBC and XLink Kai and join it on my Xbox I just can't host. If somebody can help me out I would appreciate it!

I have fixed the problem, dash launch 3.0 is blocking syslink... It's still in beta so I'll be reporting this problem shortly...
