Use this tool to convert the UTF-8 bytes from the list above into a 2-byte hex code point.

Ensure that the "Hex UTF-8 bytes" option is selected. Now, enter the value without the '0x' prefix and with spaces in between each pair (byte). For example: If I want to use the symbol represented by 0xEE91B8, I would enter EE 91 B8 in the textbox and then press "Go". You want the hex code point value.

Assuming you're using KSoft.Tool, insert ----; where you want the symbol to be. Replace the four dashes (----) with the Hex Code Point value.

try %n don't know why, but I've seen that in the strings on CTF.

%n is for if you want to put a numeric variable in the middle of the string. Pass in a string token and it will get replaced with the value of the token. It won't display a percent sign.

Unless it's because I'm using the old KSoft repack, this doesn't seem to work in Reach.

 

This should be the plasma pistol,  right?

This is beautiful. Anyone tried flood talons?

I used the ordnance waypoint icons since they are small enough to fit in the killfeed, and flood talons aren't an ordnance item. However there is a symbol for flood talons like in the post game report but it's pretty big so if someone was to use it, I'd suggest that they use it in a widget exclusively.

I highly doubt it, but can you use these in any name strings for things, other then the percent obviously, meaning Instead of Saying BigvsSmall, could you use a simple symbol instead? Just curious. Obviously not best example, but you know what I mean. lol.

Use them only in the string table in gametypes.

I'm trying to get this to work but when I put the HEX code into the String it won't even let me properly close the XML label, also when I encode it it'll say: "Invalid syntax for a hexadecimal numeric enitity"

You need to close it with a semicolon ;

Still getting the same errors but now it says: "Invalid syntax for a decimal numeric entity" instead of a decimal one.

 

This is what I wrote:
