BSP Injection And You!

nvm im going to post this on its own topic but i'll leave this here in the spoiler.

Alrighty, im stumped. I tried to inject 070_bsp_000 from The Ark/070_waste.map into Sandbox and ive set all RMSH shaders to the Sandbox copper and all RMTR to 070 sand and when i look at the map it locks up.

Oh and just for giggles here's what X360 Neighborhood gives me:

Oh and BTW that part involving hex editor the hex values were already as shown like bfixer's was.

so you may think this question will go one way but i assure you its not,

So i would like to know if i can make a map without having a modded console to test it on, basically just make maps that can be injected for the modded console community, but without a modded console i wouldnt have a way to test it,

essentially i would like to make maps using this method but i fully realize i wouldnt be able to personally test said map.

mostly just to hone my skills and give the modded community something back for all they have done for me

Updated with some tricks and revisions I learned when making Cabin Fever. Should help solve glitchy sound issues. Also an updated bsdt so don't forget to grab that.

Bit of a necro post but im sure people who are trying to do this will find this helpful:

If you finished the local injection, changed the SBSP collision index and have issues with certain geometry causing soft locks, its because there is more geometry to have its index changed. You may have to do the process of bulk changing to the relevant index multiple times.
