Ok, suppose its a weapon. Then in assembly, you to the weap tag. You will see many different files. select your gun like weapons/dmr or something. Now scroll down then you should see the hlmt (model) tag of the weapon. Jump to that. Then Jump to the 'mode' tag from there.

Go down you should see a 'rmsh' tag (shader) start changing different chunks to experiment.
