H2V Sapien framerate issues

4 posts in this topic

I recently installed H2 Vista's editing kit, and H2MT's unlocked version of all the tools. Whenever I run Sapien and open a scenario, I get horrible framerate issues when looking towards the center of most maps (for example, Coagulation dips to 1- 5 fps). My theory is that Sapien is not using my GPU for rendering. My GPU usage is close to zero percent, and the graph in the image I've included seem to confirm that it is using the CPU.

Anybody know how to fix this?
I tried doing compatibility mode for both Win 7 and Vista, no change.

Specs:
Win 10 Anniversary Update
i7 6700k
GTX 1080
16GB ram
et cetera

Bump: Sapien is not supposed to be this slow, correct?

The reason that Sapien runs so slow is that it was pretty much hardcoded to think that ur PC is far inferior than ur specs(close to 4.0 if i am right)

I suppose HG did this so that H2Editing Kit could run on any PC

Glad theres a fix for this

Look here H2Codez

This mod enables a ton of other features too that u will find worth checking
