X360 Ace V3 vs V5 difference?

4 posts in this topic

Im ordering parts to RGH my trinity xbox 360. This is the first time ive ever modded an xbox and found a tutorial through a google search. They used an x360 ace v3 for the tutorial but i wanted to get up to date parts so i went with the ace v5. Would there be a difference for installation between a v3 and v5?

k so, after a little more research into it; with the Ace v5 you dont need to program the timing it automatically does it itself. The different headers on the ace v5 auto determine what it has to do to glitch your cpu. Heres a youtube video:

Same thing can be done with the V3 if you have the correct files for it, it "learns" for a lack of better words. As long as the power isnt unplugged from the console it will remember the optimal timing.
